Imats Sydney

Wow I have been planning this trip for months and cannot believe it is only days away! I am so excited to be going to Imats Sydney this year.  I am so excited to look at the exhibitors, buy makeup and meet other beauty insiders and bloggers. Like I said I have planned this holiday months ago so it doesn’t seem real that it is nearly here. I am going with  my boyfriend Nathan ( Nathan won’t be coming to Imats though, I couldn’t do that to him lol ) So we will be leaving on Thursday night and arriving around 8.00am on Friday morning. Imats is on Saturday and Sunday at this stage I have tickets for both but not sure if I’ll go both days but I do have tickets for both.

For anyone who doesn’t know Imats is a International makeup and trade show. Imats is hosted all over the world from Sydney, London, LA and New York. With amazing exhibitors of all the hottest brands of makeup and anything beauty related. Not only is the best makeup there but also the best Makeup artists and makeup professionals hence my excitement to go and meet some incredible people in the industry.

Birthday Festivities

So as the title suggest I just had a birthday! I am a birthday lover. I love celebrating, mine, friends and family no matter who I cant help but celebrating with them. This may not be a shock for some people but I am a Pisces, we are renowned for being very passionate about birthdays.  As long as I can remember Birthdays have been special for me, definitely more than any other holidays or celebrations in the year. I feel that with other celebrations there not as individual, as most people are celebrating them with you and it’s not so special. Don’t get me wrong I love Christmas and Easter but there something so more special and personalised about birthdays, a day just for you.  

So not like we need an excuse to get together, but I did organised a night out for my friends and I. As I haven’t been going out that much lately I wanted to go to a cocktail bar and just relax, have a dance and some delicious drinks with my dearest friends.

When it came to my outfit I went shopping with an open mind, surprise,surprise though I ended up with a black dress. When I tried on this dress I knew straight away that this was what I was wearing. I literally said to my friends Kate and Pauline this is it from the changing rooms happy with excitement. 

 

Now we know I am not shy from some dramatic, statement costume jewellery.  So my friends helped me pick out a beautiful necklace that had some gorgeous bright blue stones on it. I loved how it looked with the dress. I added some blue into my eye shadow to enhance and make the colour from my necklace pop.

A quick OOTD

So I thought I'll I do a quick OOTD. I had a spot of shopping to do so my outfit was casual and comfortable. As  Australia is heading into Summer it was a beautiful 34 degree day so of course my outfit had to be stylish but also suitable for a hot day.

 As you would no by know I love Peplum tops and this one is just another in the closet of many. I love this coral colour which really spices up my normal black on black look, and of course now that its spring its nice to add some colour into my spring wardrobe.

 

 

 

Sorry for the bathroom selfies but wanted to take some before running out the door.

Hi Everyone! So I must start by apologising for my lack of posts this week! With a combination of no Internet and going down south for the long weekend, it became very difficult posting.
