The world of Benefit!

Let me just start by saying WOW! I had never really used many benefit products before, so I was so very happy when I received some for Christmas. All the products I recieved are amazing, the quality of each item is outstanding and definitely worth the money.
It’s no surprise, like I’ve said before I am a sucker for the Christmas packs so I could resist picking up two, plus some other goodies.  As I was haven’t used to many of the benefit makeup before I went for the more main stream products, which have raving reviews on them, from blogs, to instagram to YouTube.

The POREfessional – this is truly a great product! I love everything about it. I do feel like it does minimise the appearance of my poors and truly does prime my face ready for foundation. It is very lightweight and doesn’t leave my pores feeling oily or congested.  My skin feels very moisturised after using this which does help keep my foundation on for longer. It has a fresh, zesty sent to it I love waking up in the morning and putting this on!

Boi –ing Concealer- This is such a great product , I feel it really does cover any blemish, red shots, bags or anything I need to cover up. This for me is my perfect colour so I will be using this more to cover any pimples or red pigments on my face. I would really use this as an under eye concealer as it doesn’t brighten that area. I might purchase another of these in a lighter shade to than put under my eyes. They call it a Industrial strength concealer, I would agree with it being a full coverage, long wearing product.

SugarBomb and Coralista – immediately when I think of benefit cosmetics I think of these two blushes. The quality of their blushes is literally out of this world. There are so incredible pigmented and soft they glide onto the skin so smoothly leaving a natural, effortless colour. The peachy pink tones in both of these suit my skin type and feel they do highlight my cheek area when wearing them. These bad boys last all day! If you haven’t already check them out!
So the boxes have scratches and bite marks on them thanks to my dog!

The little love potions- I loved this pack! I love to try out products before I decided to purchase the full size as I get bored of products so easily! This is a great way to see what products I like, what suit my skin, what really work, the smell of them, and plus there great for travelling!  I for some reason didn’t purchase Hoola so I can’t wait to try out the mini so I can see if I want them full size.

I have a video coming your way on all the items I got for Christmas so keep and eye out for that!

As always please leave any comments below.

Thanks everyone

Mua Haul

Recently I jumped onto Makeup Academy (MUA) website to check out some of there products and to see if there was anything I wanted to try. I had seen many amazing reviews on these products and I was dying to check them out.
As a fellow Australian I love watching some of my favourite YouTube ladies such as Lauren Curtis and Chloe Morello. Recently when watching Lauren I saw one of her older videos which was a Makeup haul, this was when I first heard about this brand. Lauren raved about the products so I was excited to purchase some items. My friend Vienna has also recently purchased some items from there and she couldn't say enough good things, so that was final, I had to purchase some for my own. Once I jumped on the website I was pleasantly surprised with the prices. Actually that would be an understatement as no other makeup in Australia was this cheap that came along with such amazing reviews. I ended up purchasing a few things and I believe it came up to just under $40.00.

I love the consistency of these, there are not sticky at all! There supposed to be plumping lip gloss but didn't find it had any effect. The best thing about them is that the colours are beautiful and not shear at all. The colours I got were Coral Couture and Hollywood

I can not rave enough about these lipsticks there great. The lipsticks are so pigmented the colour last forever. I got them in shades 4,7,12 and 13.

The Primers work great especially with my combination/ oily skin type. The only negative is the smell of the Pro-base! I cant stand it lol

As you would know by now I am a Concealer junkie! So of course I had to try them out immediately.
Both Concealers are in Shade Light.

I originally got this glitter eyeliner as I watched a recent video by Chloe Morello who used one to make her signature winged eyeliner more dramatic. I loved the hint of glitter without it being tacky!

I can not say enough good things about these lashes and for $1.90 who can complain. The only negative is the glue it comes with is very tacky and not easy to apply I would suggest to use another glue.

So there it is I hope you enjoyed this haul. If you are looking for a little guilt free shopping than definitely try this brand out!

Until next time

Everyday Makeup Pictorial

I love viewing pictorials, even though this isn’t a step by step pictorial I thought it would be fun to see the products I use and in what order. Some may say how hard is it to put on makeup! What I find exciting is that you could get a group of beauty lovers together, give them the same products and tell them to put them on, chances are not all of them use the same technique. Everyone has their own method, rules and application steps to getting ready in the morning. One thing I have noticed many beauty gurus doing differently from me is they put blush on last, my preference is to complete my face first and then move onto eyes, I like to finish one section than move onto another. So this isn’t wrong by any means but it just shows us that makeup can be objective, it doesn’t have to be the same which is why it’s fun, exciting and definitely interchanging! It is really true what they say, Makeup is really an art form and your face is the canvas, cliché maybe, but it’s true.
