Hi everyone!!!!

 I have missed this so much! I haven't written a post in such a long time. The reason for my absence is that i have finally started filming and editing my first videos to release on my Youtube Channel. I have been throwing all my time and energy into that at the moment as I am hoping to release my first video on the 1st Jan 2014. So make sure you go on and check out my channel style Couture beauty . I promise I will be back on here and writing my posts in the New Year!

Lunch Date OOTD

Today's outfit of the day was a casual, comfy and stylish look. I am not normally a girl that wears jeans but for today as I wanted to dress down this shirt it was a perfect match. I teamed it with a brown smokey eye, gold accessories and brown clutch which I thought mixed well with bright shirt without being to over powering.

Electric Blue!!

Electric Blue, not an eye Shadow colour I normally lean towards but for my outfit on Saturday night I thought it was the perfect way to spice up my Little Black Dress (LBD). As you know I would normally team this with a smokey eye or my signature Emerald green look, but for this occasion I thought I would try something different. My outfit for Saturday night was a very simple black dress, this is why I wanted to go dramatic with my hair and makeup.

 

 

The following products were used to create this look

Bh Cosmetics 88 Shadow palette

Maybelline Colour Tattoo- in Electric blue

Napoleon Perdis loose dust in - Blue number 29

NYX- Frosted Ocean

Wet n Wild Coloricon in - Blue

Mac paint pot- Black

MUA- Lashes

 

And these products where just for the eyes. This look took me around 45 minutes but was well worth the effort. One tip I would suggest when doing a dramatic eye like this is to start with the eyes first, just in case there is any fallout. I also tapped sticky tape under my eye, to help remove the glitter and eyeshadow fallout. This also helps make a perfect line from the end of my lashes to the end of my brow.

For my hair I used good old fashion Hot Rollers. For me this is the best way to get big, bouncy, Victoria Secret Curls. To create the extra volume I teased my hair before putting in the rollers. I have found by completing this step first it doesn't wreck the curls afterwards.

Pictures from my Weekend

This weekend like most of my weekends were jammed pack! With Nathan’s finales in football, a spot of shopping in the city, dinner with some friends on sat night and father’s day I didn’t stop. My outfits for the weekend had to be practical but also stylish and fun, as I was literally going from one activity to another. So all these photos are from my busy weekend!! BTW unfortunately didn't buy anything shopping but another haul will be coming soon!

New Products for the Month

So this month I have been making too many purchase of makeup and beauty items. To say the least I have spent many hours online looking at products or rushing into Priceline for yet another sale! Hello my name is Suzie and I am addicted to Makeup!!! I feel at the moment that my life is consumed of makeup and beauty and I cannot get enough. If only I was this passionate about deciding on a house plan. The problem is when I find something that I love I want it in every colour to add to my growing collection.

Some of the items I did purchase I have been looking at for a while now and finally purchased them such as the Sigma products I’ll talk about below. See I really do have problems!  Justifying the reason why I purchased makeup lol. Its growing harder and harder to watch TV, purchase magazines or go on social media these days as all I see is sales or discounts on makeup and I can simply not resist. Clearly I have no willpower when it comes to makeup.

With that said I am super happy with the purchases made!!! These products would probably be some of my favourite of the YEAR.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



I cannot wait to try and use all of these products, especially playing around with the BH cosmetics palette. I bought this palette as I need more colour on my eyes. I do my favourite and go to emerald eye look but wanting to have fun with some bright colours.

Also if you can’t tell I am currently reading Lauren Conrad’s book “Style”.

My Exciting News

I am really excited I get to share this news with you all. It’s something that I have been planning for a while now.........

 

 

 

 

 I am finally going to start my YOUTUBE channel! This is something I have wanted to do for a very long time and I can’t believe it is actually going to happen.  My dream was always to do YouTube videos so I am happy that I can finally follow my true passion, something that I can focus all my time and energy into, expressing my beauty, makeup, style, fashion, organisation and my  day to day life with you all.

My plan is to film around 5 to 10 than launch them on my YouTube channel, so the next month or so I am busy filming away.

However, I am a little upset because my plan was to do my blog until I moved into my new house, to film in my(beauty room) but I thought as that is still going to be a least a year away why wait! I am busy waiting for my lighting to arrive and just some finishing touches so I can start to film, so please keep an eye out on here because I will announce it through here first!

I am having problems with Bloglovin! I have set up with them for people to follow my page but still having problems:( I am waiting for them to contact me to hopefully fix the problem asap.

Last but finally not least New York

Ok so finally I have my blog on New York!! Oh how I missed New York what’s not to love right? The shopping, entertainment, lights, atmosphere and fine dining aghh take my back to February. I didn’t realise while I was over there how much I love the big apple. Nathan and I were talking about it and we cannot wait to rush back. We were lucky we had 11 nights there because everyone was like you can never have too much time in New York. This is true by the way! We were there 6 days before we had even seen the Hudson River. God know what we were doing but before you know it, it’s gone in a New York minute.
Everything is so fast passed here, I felt overwhelmed at times with the lights and people going by. Constantly memorised with what was happening next. I felt my mouth was on the floor the whole time as I was trying to take in as much as I could locking it away in my memory.
We only took 2 taxis the entire time we were in New York as we wanted to experience everything by foot, also this way if we wanted to stop we could. One thing I love about America is that the shops don’t shut at 5pm. I remember Nathan and I arrived at like 12 o’clock at night but we were too excited to sleep we walked to Times Square which was breathtaking! It was electric and buzzing, even though it was late at night. Shops were still open, restaurants still serving food and beverages it was truly like this place never sleeps.

Nathan is too cute he got my these 12 stem red roses for my birthday they literally up to my hips. I was so sad when I had to leave them behind!

 

Birthday dinner at Budakan The restaurant in the first Sex and the City movie where Carrie and big have there engagement! It was amazing!

 

 

 

 

I loved America I can't wait to go back!!

 

I also want to do a blog on my purchases so look out for that.
